Dr. Isabela Jones
Dr. Isabela Jones, MD, FAAD is the founder of Virginia Square Dermatology. She is a board-certified, Ivy-league educated dermatologist and the only dermatologist in Arlington, VA with fellowship training in cosmetic dermatologic surgery. She is a native of the Washington, DC area, having grown up in Potomac, MD.
Dr. Jones is known for her warm bedside manner and artistic eye. She thrives in helping her patients look and feel their best, and creates natural and beautiful looking results using skincare, lasers, fillers, botox, and other minimally invasive treatments. Most importantly, Dr. Jones provides honest advice.
Her special interests also include the treatment of acne and acne scarring, as she herself battled cystic acne as a teenager. She is also passionate about the screening and early detection of skin cancer, and conducts thorough head-to-toe skin exams using dermoscopy and photography.

Following residency, she was selected to complete a prestigious Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship accredited by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) in San Diego, CA. Under the internationally renown Dr. Mitchel Goldman, Dr. Sabrina Fabi, and colleagues, Dr. Jones mastered the latest and most advanced techniques in neurotoxins (Botox), fillers, laser therapy, body contouring, fat reduction, skin tightening, vein treatment, and non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation.
She has authored numerous medical articles and textbook chapters in both the general and aesthetic dermatologic literature and has presented at multiple national conferences. Dr. Jones has also been involved in cutting-edge research to advance the field of cosmetic dermatology, including clinical trials on Coolsculpting, Kybella, fillers for “skin boosting” and chest rejuvenation, sclerotherapy, microfocused-ultrasound, radiofrequency, and lasers for photoaged skin. She is a reviewer for the Dermatologic Surgery Journal and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and ASDS.
Dr. Jones lives here in Arlington with her husband and two children.
